Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) is sometimes referred to as the 'mother' of all asanas. Its many benefits include developing patience and emotional stability, both qualities much needed in our present times. In this workshop we look at various ways to prepare for and develop confidence in the independent practice of this pose. We will explore different ways to do this pose, variations of arms and legs positions in Sarvangasana, and other, related asanas that can be used as alternative to Sarvangasana. This online workshop with Pascale Vacher is taking place online via Zoom. It is open to all Iyengar yoga students with at least one year of Iyengar yoga experience (or equivalent). Please ask if unsure.
