This is the first in a new series of workshops in which we will explore ways in which to prepare for and develop confidence in the independent practice of inversions (Viparita Sthiti). In this first event, the focus will be on Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and Halasana (plough pose). Together these two poses form the foundation of inverted poses. They help strengthen the body and quieten the mind. They also contribute to relieving stress and tension, both physically and mentally. This online workshop with Pascale Vacher is taking place online via Zoom. It is open to all Iyengar yoga students with at least one year of Iyengar yoga experience (or equivalent). Please ask if unsure.
