Urdhva Dhanurasana (also known as the 'Upward-facing bow' or 'Wheel' pose) is an energy-boosting posture that helps strengthen our arms, legs, spine, and abdomen can ease back pain. The practice of this pose also builds confidence, improves posture and counteracts the effects of prolonged sitting.
In this workshop, we will explore asanas that prepare and help build to this challenging pose. We will investigate different supports and variations for this pose, gradually leading to the independent practice this key asana.
A prior established practice of simple back bending poses will be expected. Please ask if unsure.

Booking is essential. Please contact the teacher in advance to ensure this workshop event is suitable and discuss any health issues or injuries that may affect your practice.

To participate you will need the following yoga equipment (or equivalent): 4 blocks, 2 blankets, 1 belt, 1 bolster (or thick cushions), 1 chair (not necessarily a yoga chair). Please ask if unsure or if you would like to borrow some props.Details

We cannot be liable for any additional expenses that you may have incurred as a result.
