SADIY Privacy Policy
As a member of the Sheffield and District Iyengar Yoga group (SADIY) your personal details are kept on a password protected spreadsheet.
Your personal details include your name, address, telephone number, email address, whether you are a Iyengar yoga teacher or not, the name of any other institute you are member of and the date and amount you have paid for your membership.
We use your information to send you our newsletter and to let you know of forthcoming yoga events in the local area, also for processing membership forms and payments and for inviting membership renewal.
We share your information with IY(UK), if you are affiliated to the IY(UK) through SADIY, so that you receive membership to the IY(UK) association.
The legal basis for holding your information is “consent”. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing our membership secretary,
lorraine.bonete@gmail.com, and we will delete your information from our records.
We retain your details for 3 years from our last contact with you, after which time they are deleted.
