As we engage in these postures, we gently release tension in the spine. At the same time our internal organs benefit from a surge of fresh, oxygenated blood, leaving you feeling refreshed and energised.
This workshop is suitable for level 2 students and above. of Iyengar Yoga.

In this class we will explore how to use the yoga chair to support and improve our back bends.
Elevate and deepen your practice,
By using the chair for support, we remove the "fight" against gravity, allowing for better alignment, longer holds, and a deeper understanding of the actions required for opening the chest and pelvis and arching the spine. This session is designed to help you explore your full potential with confidence.

SADIY has invited JWP Training to run a First Aid course at Sheffield Iyengar Yoga Centre in the Autumn 2026.

This course leads to the delivery of the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for 3 years. This qualification is a requirement for all IY(UK) teachers.

This one-day event is open to all SADIY members and non-members.
